Wealth Out of Waste Competition.

Alva’s Central School organized the Wealth Out of Waste competition for students of Grades 6, 7, and 8 on the 26th of July, 2024. The competition aimed to encourage students to explore their creativity by repurposing waste materials into useful and innovative items, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation. The event was held in the school library and had enthusiastic participation from 14 students across different grades.

The participants were given a time frame of two hours to create their projects using eco-friendly materials. Each project was evaluated based on creativity, practicality, and sustainability. The competition was judged by a panel consisting of Santhosh, Shreshta, and Maqbul, who selected three winners from each grade.

      • 3rd Place: Aaradhya (6B)

Grade 7:

      • 1st Place: Sahithya (7A)
      • 2nd Place: Ahana (7B)
      • 3rd Place: Aadhya V Shetty (7A)

Grade 8:

      • 1st Place: Shriyan (8B)
      • 2nd Place: Chinmay K A (8B)
      • 3rd Place: Subhiksha (8A)

The event was a great success, with the students showcasing remarkable creativity and teamwork. The teachers and judges praised their efforts, and the competition served as an inspiration for the students to contribute towards sustainability and waste management in their daily lives.
