SAHITHYOTSAVA – an AICS Interschool Competition – was successfully conducted on August 10, 2024, at Mangalore, offering students a platform to showcase their literary talents. The event, held from morning to evening, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in Grade VIII, Divisions A to K, with six participants representing Alva’s Central Higher Primary School.
Under the guidance of one dedicated teacher, the students displayed their prowess in various events and emerged victorious.
- Vaishnavi Shetty from 8A secured the 1st place in the “Ink and Imagination” event.
- Vishnupriya from 8A also bagged the 1st place in “Subhashitham in Sanskrit.”
- Vaibhav and Prapthi A from 8H and 8B respectively, earned the 3rd place in the “Varg Paheli” event.
Their collective efforts contributed to Alva’s Central Higher Primary School winning the Overall Championship (Junior Category). The school congratulates all participants for their remarkable achievements and extends a special mention to the teachers and judges for making the event a grand success
