Kannada Debate Competition
On 20th August 2024, a Kannada Debate Competition was successfully conducted for the students of Grade X (Divisions A to M) at Alva’s Central School. The event, organized by Suresh KK, took place during the morning session and saw the enthusiastic participation of 23 students. The topic for debate was “Is Social Media Necessary for Students?”, which sparked a lively and thought-provoking discussion among the participants..
The competition was judged by Suresh KK, Rakshitha, and Ashwini MS, who evaluated the students on their critical thinking, articulation, and overall presentation skills. Three teachers were involved in coordinating the event, ensuring its smooth execution.
Event Results
After a series of compelling arguments, the following students emerged as winners:
- I Place: Deeksha H K – 10th A
- II Place: Shreya R – 10th C
- III Place: Deepika S M – 10th A
The event was a great success, fostering a healthy competitive spirit while encouraging students to express their viewpoints confidently. The school extends its congratulations to all the participants and winners for their outstanding performance.
