On the 23rd of August 2024, Alva’s Central School held an exciting Fancy Dress Competition for students of grades VI, VII, and VIII. The competition was conducted during the morning session with active participation from 65 students, representing divisions A to K. The theme for the event was “Indian Folk”, and students showcased their creativity by dressing up in various folk attires from different regions of India
The event was held at Mohini Appaji Vedike, where students confidently displayed their cultural heritage through their outfits and performances. The competition was judged by Prasad, Guruprasad, and Roopa, who had the difficult task of selecting winners from each grade, given the high level of enthusiasm and effort displayed by all participants.
