Valpady Gramapanchayat, Shirthady

The Department of Social Science organized a field trip for the students of Grade X to observe the functioning of a Gramasabha at Valpady Gramapanchayat, Shirthady, on 29th August 2024. The visit was an enriching educational experience, providing students with practical insights into the workings of local governance

During the session, students gained valuable knowledge about the roles and responsibilities of the Gramasabha, the decision-making processes involved, and how the Gramapanchayat operates under the guidance of this local assembly. The hands-on exposure helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning in the classroom and real-world applications in local administration.
